The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando production version has been unveiled today and GM has announced that its world premiere will take place at the Paris Auto Show this fall. GM has released only the initial details a couple of photos of the 2011 Chevrolet Orlando, but they’re enough to give a first impression of their new MPV. The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando will be made available on the European market with a choice between petrol and two diesel engines. The gasoline powered 2011 Chevrolet Orlando will have a 1.8-liter engine developing 141 hp while the diesels will be 2.0-liter units with 131hp (low output) or 163 hp (high output).
The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando will be sold in three trim levels and will come equipped with electronic stability control, six air-bags, air conditioning and power mirrors.
The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando keeps the large area which is revealed by flipping up the face of the audio, first seen on the concept. This area gives enough space for the storage of an MP3 player, sunglasses and wallets. This space also features a USB port.
The company has also announced that the 2011 Chevrolet Orlando is only one of four premieres that will take place in Paris.
The new MPV will go into production in October and will be put on sale early next year. The 2011 Chevrolet Orlando price list will be announced at a later date.
